Plaid Flannel

Madewell Flannel // Old H&M Infinity Scarf {Similar} // Paige Denim {Similar} // Target Booties //   J. Crew Bag {On Sale!} // Katie Waltman Necklace // Michael Kors Watch // Giles & Brother Cuff // Tiffany & Co. Ring // Michael Kors Ring {Craving this one!}  // Ray-Ban Sunnies

I love flannels for the fall/winter season. They're as cozy and warm as a sweatshirt, and so versatile! I can't wait to pair this one with a black leather skirt and tall boots!

Uniform

Ralph Lauren Button Down // Free People Leather Shorts // Old Steve Madden Pumps {Identical!} // 3.1 Phillip Lim Bag // Target Belt // David Yurman Ring // Vintage Sterling Silver Ring // Stella & Dot Rings // Necklace Piked Up On A Trip To Morocco {Similar} // Fendi Sunnies // Baby Lips Tinted Lip Balm "Cherry Me" // CND "Hot Pop Pink" Nail Shellac

Black and white is my go-to uniform when I'm rushing to get dressed in the morning. I love that it's almost impossible to mess up; you can't go wrong no matter what accessories you choose! I immediately grabbed for one of my favorite statement pieces to spice up the look, and kept additional jewelry to a minimum. A red lip is always a great way to add a pop of color to your look but I was feeling a bit on the lazy side today so I grabbed for a tinted lip balm instead, opting for a lower maintenance product.

Poof

Anthropologie Top // Old Tory Burch Denim {Similar} // Old Forever 21 Purse {Similar} // Kate Spade Flats {On Sale!} // Vintage Scarf {Stolen From My Mother} // Michael Kors Watch // Hermes Bracelet // Vintage Gold Bangle // Tiffany & Co. Ring // Old Forever 21 Ring {Similar} // Tom Ford Sunnies {Similar} // Chanel Imagineire Lipgloss

My mother was particularly surprised when I came home with this top. When I was a little girl, I absolutely refused to wear anything with a "poofy sleeve" as I so elegantly termed it. I made my mother find me the only first communion dress on the East Coast without "poofy sleeves" {not an easy task by any means, she still gives me crap about it}. So when my mother caught a glimpse of me in this new number, she was more than a bit confused. I usually don't go for the "poofy sleeved" look even today, but for some reason this top demanded that I break the rules. This was one of those pieces that I felt had its own personality, making it easy to wear, and effortlessly chic!

Fall Finds

These are some of my favorite trends for fall! I will always love a good motorcycle jacket and I absolutely adore this twist on the classic black pump. And how sinful are these studded clutches? I tend to like to invest in good quality pieces when it comes to things I will get a lot of use out of, for me that means the leather jacket and black pump, but when it comes to things that I will only use a few times {a totally bad-a** studded clutch that I will have very few occasions to wear} I would much rather save my pennies! What do you think? Save or splurge?
